Rowlands Recruitment are one of the first to be awarded Jersey Good Business Charter

  • Publish Date: Posted about 5 years ago

The Jersey Good Business Charter, launched in November 2018, is a standard awarded to businesses in Jersey in recognition of their commitment to good corporate citizenship and responsible business practices in all that they do. Rowlands is one of two businesses to be the first to pass the assessment.

Applications were assessed by a Council of 13 senior business leaders who affirmed Rowlands Recruitment commitment to good business across the five areas of the Charter: people, environment, community, suppliers and customers.

Brendan McMahon, Chairman of Jersey Good Business Charter, commented:

"I know that the Jersey Good Business Council have been examining applications with great seriousness and rigour, looking for strong evidence of credible commitment to the principles of good business in each of the five areas of the Charter. For Rowlands to come out on the other side as a Charter Awardee is a significant achievement of which your whole business should be proud."

Jeralie Pallot, Managing Director of Rowlands Recruitment, commented:

"The interest and excitement that has developed within the team has been very inspiring and motivating. What started as an application to be recognised as a ‘good’ business very quickly became a wider development strategy with the full team involved, all personally focused on making an even more positive impact."
