The breakfast was an opportunity for Rowlands’ clients and invited guests to meet and network and participate in the milestone celebrations.
Rowlands’ Managing Director, Jeralie Pallot, opened the seminar with a reflection on changes in Jersey’s recruitment scene over the last 40 years and Rowlands’ journey since then. She also focused on the impact of digital developments on the sector.
Jeff Grout, who until 2000 was UK Managing Director of Robert Half International, the largest specialised recruitment consultancy in the world, and is listed in the ‘100 Best Business Speakers in Britain’, built on the theme of business longevity in his talk on how to attract, recruit and retain talent. He explored the new realities of the current job market and also showed how managers can successfully motivate their team, and hold on to star performers.
