Responsibilities will include:
Promoting best practice and providing technical guidance to all Administrators with respect to fiduciary principles and service delivery
Establishing, updating and maintaining necessary controls and procedures
Remaining up to date on regulatory and business developments
Assisting with the training and oversight and development of subordinates
Ensuring discharge of duties as an ‘A’ signatory of managed entities
Reporting to Head of Private Client Administration on a regular basis in agreed formats on all key performance criteria
Experience and skills required:
10+ years relevant experience and completed a Table 4 qualification
Knowledge of relevant trust and company law and fiduciary principles legislation and regulatory requirements
Commercial and fiduciary risk awareness
Good practical knowledge and understanding of Trust deeds and associated legal documents, global tax practice effecting the industry including UK and US tax legislation, FATCA and CRS
Well versed in technicalities of UK tax legislation re IHT, CGT and income tax
Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements including the ability to understand the financial condition of companies from an analysis of the balance sheet
