Responsibilities will include:

  • Promoting best practice and providing technical guidance to all Administrators with respect to fiduciary principles and service delivery

  • Establishing, updating and maintaining necessary controls and procedures

  • Remaining up to date on regulatory and business developments

  • Assisting with the training and oversight and development of subordinates

  • Ensuring discharge of duties as an ‘A’ signatory of managed entities 

  • Reporting to Head of Private Client Administration on a regular basis in agreed formats on all key performance criteria

Experience and skills required:

  • 10+ years relevant experience and completed a Table 4 qualification

  • Knowledge of relevant trust and company law and fiduciary principles legislation and regulatory requirements

  • Commercial and fiduciary risk awareness

  • Good practical knowledge and understanding of Trust deeds and associated legal documents, global tax practice effecting the industry including UK and US tax legislation, FATCA and CRS

  • Well versed in technicalities of UK tax legislation re IHT, CGT and income tax

  • Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory requirements including the ability to understand the financial condition of companies from an analysis of the balance sheet
