Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing a team of trust professionals and acting as Senior Trust Manager whereby you will be managing a book of trust and company accounts, engaging in trust client relationship management which may include travel
Ensuring all accounts are administered efficiently and in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures, legal requirements, governing instruments and with the highest level of client service
Communicating effectively with internal and external clients and their advisors on all trust and company matters
Assisting with the review of new business opportunities in conjunction with the new business review team
Participating in internal audits, external regulatory exams and risk management committees
Experience and skills required:
At least 6 years of experience within trust and company management and administration
Hold a STEP qualification
Proven experience in leading and managing a team; and/or strong subject matter expert knowledge
Technical proficiency in the investment, legal and tax issues relative to trust and/or company management
Strong communication and presentation skills
Qualification in law, finance or accounting as well as foreign languages would be an asset
