A great trainee opportunity, where you will have the chance to work with a client base spanning every industry sector, alongside industry experts, in a company which has developed the knowledge, skills and expertise to meet the ever-evolving IT needs of local businesses.

Dealing with clients, engineers and internal staff, you will respond and log customer queries, ensuring value is provided to customers at all times in this role.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to telephone and email queries from external customers, Service Engineers and various departments of the business  

  • Supporting engineers with any outstanding logged calls and incidents

  • Logging, tracking and directing IT incidents to the appropriate teams 

  • Following up with customers to record feedback and seeing problems through to resolution 

  • Ordering and chasing required products and parts 

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous customer-service experience 

  • Minimum 2 years’ IT experience, scheduling/logging service calls, ideally within a fast paced, busy environment

  • Organised and methodical approach to tasks

  • Good time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines

  • Ability to quickly learn new systems
