An independent trust company that has been celebrated for their exceptional client service and highly qualified and professional team, is seeking a Trainee Accounts Preparer to join their growing business.

You will also be supported to study towards a professional qualification.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting financial statements for basic trust and company accounts 

  • Calculating and accounting for year-end provisions, including expenses and foreign currency revaluations 

  • Posting bookkeeping entries to ledgers 

  • Providing periodic reporting for clients or intermediaries as required 

  • Reviewing and reconciling entity ledgers in advance of accounts preparation 

Experience and skills required:

  • Strong academic background

  • Willing to study towards a relevant professional qualification

  • Confident using Microsoft Excel 

  • Good time management and organisational skills 

  • Ability to work well within a team
