Working in the private equity department you will assist with delivering the financial reporting requirements for a portfolio of clients.
This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious trainee that is focused on a career in accounting, where you will be offered full study support and on the job learning.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the preparation of financial statements for a range of client structures to UK GAAP or IFRS standards
Assisting bookkeepers with the resolution of bookkeeping issues
Checking and approving bank reconciliations prepared by bookkeepers
Ensuring client files are kept accurate and up to date
Experience and skills required:
A strong academic background, ideally educated to degree level (or equivalent)
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
Proactive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
Previous exposure to financial statements and an understanding of the finance industry would be an advantage but is not essential
