An award-winning banking and investment firm is currently looking for an experienced Analyst to join their team for 3 months, to assist with the additional demand in management information (MI) reporting and analysis.
As a Data Analyst, you will help to identify and develop ways to improve business efficiency and support the development of a robust analysis framework based on identifying business performance drivers. Whilst this role is initially for 3 months, there is the possibility this could be extended.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing management reports, including financial performance analysis and analysis on costs and headcount as requested
Preparing financial budgets and monthly performance forecasts
Providing input into the reconciliation of MI results and checking the accuracy of source data
Attending business and corporate meetings and presenting results, as required
Experience and skills required:
Educated to degree level, ideally holding a finance and accounting related degree
Hold a relevant professional accounting qualification
Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial information reporting and business performance management, analytics and business advisory
Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Team player
