Support a unique and busy family office who continuously strive for excellence and pride themselves on their technical knowledge, on a 6 month temporary contract.
Within this role you will manage the financial accounting team, ensuring month end closing processes for all entities are met and preparing calculations and providing advice to the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing accounting experience and work within a challenging and fast-moving environment. Ideally you will be available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring month end processes are completed, such as bank reconciliations
Providing input into the cash forecast for cash or other cash items
Preparing profit and loss and balance sheet reports and year-end statutory financial statements
Reviewing and completing VAT and tax returns and also payroll for assigned jurisdictions
Assisting with the completion and review of regulatory returns
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Accountant with several years post qualification experience
Previous IFRS and payroll management experience
Experience managing, developing and motivating a team
Good knowledge of different jurisdictional tax requirements
Confident excel skills and proactive and solutions-orientated
