A rewarding career opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant, to temporarily join a local charitable organisation and provide a high quality executive level support to the CEO.

Covering a period of maternity leave from September 2021 to February 2022, you will be reporting directly to the CEO, whilst also supporting the senior management team and board of trustees.

Within this key role you will act as the CEO's representative and ambassador and provide quality professional service to both internal and external guests, at all levels.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing diaries and email inboxes 

  • Booking travel arrangements and preparing agendas

  • Composing, reviewing and proof-reading correspondence for the CEO and senior management team members 

  • Organising meetings, special events and telephone conferences

  • Acting as the lead in preparation of board meetings, including tracking the progress of action items, setting the agenda and producing accurate board minutes 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an executive level support role, ideally working with CEO/senior management and board members

  • Excellent administration and minute taking skills

  • Positive, solution focused approach to tasks

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks 

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive issues with discreet professionalism
