Due to new business, a global banking organisation is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to temporarily provide support to their team for approximately 7 months, although this may be extended.
You will work as the first point of contact for customers in Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man, Gibraltar, London and Luxembourg, providing assistance with payment related queries.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience working in a busy and diverse banking environment.
Responsibilities will include:
Proactively assisting with all customer queries, liaising with internal staff when required
Acting as a point of escalation for customers
Recognising trends in order to reduce unnecessary queries or delays for customers
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational procedures
Experience and skills required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience engaging with customers over the phone and by email
Knowledge of SWIFT payments and reporting would be an advantage but is not essential
