A leading investment management firm is seeking an experienced Company Secretary with previous minute taking experience, to provide part time support for 25 hours per week.

Supporting the Managing Director, you will be responsible for organising Board of Directors meetings, keeping up to date with regulatory changes and ensuring good corporate governance for the company and their managed funds.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling meetings and managing calendars

  • Collating and distributing meeting packs 

  • Attending Board/committee and shareholder meetings and taking minutes 

  • Maintaining corporate records and registers 

  • Fulfilling statutory/regulatory requirements

  • Coordinating insurance renewals and tax returns 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working within a financial services organisation

  • Previous minute taking experience

  • Good knowledge of the Jersey regulatory environment 

  • Strong organisational skills 

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and Adobe PDF software 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
