As part of the IT Governance Team, you will work closely with members of the infrastructure, business systems and service desk teams, leading project teams comprising both internal and external suppliers to deliver on both light and complex technical projects.

Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring IT project initiation activities are fully considered, documented, steering IT and business stakeholders through the right steps
Identifying and working with IT stakeholders and potential suppliers to elicit the requirements and develop the overall business case and budgets
Running interviews, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, processing reviews, business analysis and workflow analysis
Utilising your technical background and taking a hands-on approach to lead, as well manage, the project initiation to delivery
Actively monitoring project risks to foresee potential problems and proactively identifying solutions to address in advance
Experience and skills required:
Extensive core technology background, spanning both on-premises software and cloud technologies
Strong inquisitive, analytical and organisational skills
Understanding of how to elicit and interpret needs and translate them into clear requirements, objectives and deliverables
Experience of leading or managing core technology projects
Ability to use initiative and equally confident working independently or as part of a team
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of all levels of stakeholders and subject matter experts
