Become an integral part of a forward-thinking alternative investment services provider in a newly created role, where you will participate in creating an environment which is considered to be an inspiring place to work.
Working closely with the client facing corporate accounting team and Director of Real Estate, you will provide technical accounting advice and guidance, particularly in relation to real estate transactions.
In this role you will also look for ways to streamline operational team systems and procedures with the aim of improving the profitability for corporate clients.
Responsibilities will include:
Acting as the main point of contact for the client and third parties such as Lawyers or Auditors, on any technical accounting matters
Leading the delivery of accounting services provided to client portfolios with the support of client facing teams
Taking ownership of planning and timetabling of client, regulatory, statutory and internal deadlines
Leading the setup of the accounting workflows for new, existing and exiting client entities
Managing, monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators
Proactively ensuring client facing teams are making the most out of Yardi and ViewPoint systems and complying with tax and regulatory requirements at all times
Experience and skills required:
Strong academic background and a qualified Accountant
Previous real estate accounting experience
Previous experience using Yardi systems
Passion for client service excellence
Team player with a positive attitude
