This opportunity would suit a motivated professional committed to performing effective client services and with excellent attention to detail, to ensure that the quality of work meets the company’s professional standards and supports organisational success. Previous Jersey or Guernsey tax experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing and reviewing personal, trust and company tax returns
Assisting with tax queries and liaising with tax authorities as required
Preparing written advice for clients in connection with tax matters, covering predominantly UK, but also Jersey/Guernsey
Monitoring and reviewing work undertaken by more junior members of the tax team
Experience and skills required:
Educated to minimum A level standard
Holds a relevant professional tax or accounting qualification
Minimum 3 years’ work experience in a tax role covering UK matters such as trusts, income tax, inheritance tax and corporation tax
Previous experience in relation to trust and company administration, or other financial services experience
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
