In this role you will deliver the financial reporting requirements and UK tax compliance for a range of complex real estate clients, including UK companies, trusts, SPVs, funds, unit trusts and other complex structures. You will further assist in the supervision and coaching of junior members of staff.
Responsibilities will include:
Supervising and delegating tasks to more junior members of staff
Preparing and reviewing UK corporation tax returns, non-resident landlord returns and partnership tax returns
Monitoring profitability and recoverability of engagements and ensuring that functions are carried out in accordance with agreed fee levels
Identifying and reporting potential overruns to the Client Accounting Manager, at the earliest opportunity
Assisting with the creation and maintenance of client specific accounting procedures
Liaising with external contacts to obtain and provide required information
Experience and skills required:
Recognised accounting qualification (ACA or ACCA)
At least 3 years practical work experience
Direct experience of producing financial statements for a variety of corporate entities within various jurisdictions
Detailed understanding and knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS and UK tax rules
Good knowledge and understanding of local finance industry, legislation and regulatory requirements
