Working in this dynamic and collaborative environment, you will have primary responsibility for the oversight of the US (FATCA/QI) and Canadian tax withholding process, ensuring all systems are in place to effectively manage potential withholding tax risks/exposures.

Responsibilities will include:
Accurately maintaining client account data regarding US or Canadian securities
Overseeing withholding programme areas for QI/FATCA, including owning the withholding/reconciliation processes and managing risks
Assisting with annual internal periodic reviews and regulatory reporting for entities
Managing and developing staff within the team, providing coaching and allocating workloads
Acting as a point of contact for tax authorities in relation to regulatory report filings
Experience and skills required:
In-depth technical knowledge of FATCA/QI withholding requirements, reconciliations, reporting and year-end adjustments
Hold a relevant professional qualification such as CISI
Previous experience working with IT/operations stakeholders to understand system data captures and control reports
Excellent knowledge of systems, securities operations and counterparty transactions/interactions
Previous people management experience
