Engage in fulfilling and stimulating work, leading the operational plan to implement and embed the Environment Sustainability Strategy in an innovative financial services organisation.
Working with the Group Head of Sustainability, you will help to lead the pathway towards this company achieving a net-zero carbon footprint. You will also oversee the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme globally across the Group.
Ideally you will have enthusiasm for keeping up with trends and themes in sustainable business and sharing of expertise and knowledge.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the maintenance and operational delivery of the objectives set out in the Environment Impact Policy
Working closely with Local Managers, Sustainability Champions and other internal stakeholders to deliver environment projects
Coordinating regulatory Global Environmental Committee meetings, including preparing documents and managing action points
Contributing towards the development of an environmental learning programme with information resources and training workshops for the firm
Supporting the implementation of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, including working with jurisdictional leaders to help delivery community focused initiatives
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience within a similar role or have an environmental background
Experience delivering sustainability initiatives
Passion for environmental education, conservation and sustainable business practices
Excellent stakeholder and project management skills
Strong operational background and ability to lead several initiatives across multiple offices and time zones
