An enriching and rewarding career opportunity for a part or qualified Accountant, supporting the leadership of funds services teams across the Channel Islands.
Acting as a key point of contact for the implementation of new systems and upgrades, you will also identify opportunities for automation within the business. You will coordinate cross-jurisdictional teams, to support the implementation of new business, whilst supporting continued business alignment with wider group objectives/strategy.
This is a unique and challenging role for a part or qualified Accountant, with management experience, looking to take the next step in their career.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading the review of system developments, upgrades and implementation of new systems
Identifying new business opportunities and ways to enhance client service
Acting as an escalation point for system enhancements and new business implementations
Regularly reviewing processes and procedures, identifying automation opportunities and ways to reduce risk
Acting as Project Manager on assigned fund operational projects locally, engineering teams and engaging with stakeholders
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience within the funds industry in an operations or client-facing role
Qualified or part-qualified Accountant
Previous experience delivering new system implementations
Proactive approach to tasks and a team player
Confident Microsoft excel user
