Work within an international workforce in this 6 month temporary role, where you will provide technical knowledge, skills and administrative support to the banks business units whilst proactively identifying risks and issues.

As Senior Quality and Assurance Officer you will contribute to the design and implementation of appropriate quality measures and operational control remediation and reporting.  

You will carry out quality assurance analysis on identified and prioritised processes within infrastructure and provide quality MI and reporting with the objective of highlighting areas of risk before they occur.  

In this role, you will be expected to ensure that all complaints are investigated and appropriately resolved to minimise reputational risk and improve client satisfaction, deputising for the Head Of Quality Assurance in their absence. 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the design of quality assurance measures aimed at identifying areas of risks independently of business units

  • Ensuring there are accurate insights and management information in place to give the business insight into risk, control and quality

  • Preparing and produce quality reporting on the quality assurance measured undertaken in order to assist business units to manage their risks effectively

  • Making observations and recommendations which challenge the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls designed and implemented by infrastructure business units to mitigate key risks

  • Working with key stakeholders to assist in the management of departmental risks

  • Proactively and positively contribute to the team culture

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience and developed understanding of the operational activity carried out within a bank environment, ideally with a focus on card delivery, payments and a good customer service

  • Ability to analyse business financial performance as well as competitor and external factors

  • Good understanding of all aspects of operational risk management

  • Ability to determine if risk management and control measures are achieving the desired results and mitigating risks at the expected level
