A challenging and interesting opportunity within the expanding development team within a forward-thinking provider of outsourced IT services.
Within this role, no two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to work on designing new back end solutions, plugins and also building projects.
Ideally, you will have previous IT development experience, including knowledge of PHP frameworks, in order to hit the ground running. You will also be interested in new digital technologies and keep up to date with emerging industry trends.
Some out of hours work engagement might be required for projects based on time zones.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the delivery of application designs
Assisting with technical pre-sales activities such as project scoping and client meetings
Taking ownership of assigned client accounts and management associated projects
Collaboratively working with other members of the technical team to ensure projects are delivered to customer satisfaction
Implementing the technical aspects of projects and assisting with 3rd line troubleshooting
Experience and skills required:
Excellent understanding of core protocols related to web application delivery (HTTP/IP)
Knowledge of PHP and Laravel Framework and MySQL
Good technical understanding of the software development lifecycle
Knowledge of frontend development platforms (Javascript/HTML/CSS) and common cloud platforms (Azure), would be an advantage
Self-motivated and proactive approach to tasks when working alone and in a team
