Join the risk and compliance team in a well-regarded multi-jurisdictional financial services provider, where you will manage, develop and improve operational risk programmes across business lines and in each of the jurisdictions.

You will also play a key role in helping the risk leadership team further enhance their knowledge whilst also contributing to the leadership of the jurisdiction.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining risk registers and framework for the Group

  • Preparing and presenting reporting on the execution and results of the operational risk programme to relevant Boards and committees 

  • Providing subject matter expertise on operational risk topics and supporting the development of a set of mandatory minimum controls standards across the Group

  • Highlighting relevant training needs and assisting with the development and facilitation of staff training

  • Leading risk related projects as may be required by senior members of the risk function

 Experience and skills required:

  • Completed the International Compliance Association Diploma/Institute of Risk Management Diploma or committed to study 

  • 5-8 years relevant risk, operational risk, compliance experience

  • Proven knowledge of regulatory environment and emerging trends

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to assess complex matters on a wide spectrum of topics and exercise sound and reliable judgement
