Working alongside an experienced and well-regarded team of advisors, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of engagements and help to deliver advice to support the transformation of their businesses.

Whether you already specialise in managing challenging and complex projects (e.g., systems implementation, critical process redesign, etc.), or are a bright, organised, intellectually curious leader with at least 8 years’ experience working in the private markets alternatives industry (at GPs, LPs, asset servicers, professional services, etc.) and want to support our private markets clients transforming their businesses, this may be the role for you!

As part of the Advisory team, you will provide advice and assistance based on deep financial, analytical and business process skills to help our clients improve the way they operate, innovate and grow, reduce costs, manage risks, leverage talent and change the way they do business.

As a credible candidate you will have developed core skills in your associated discipline and be able to demonstrate prior experience in professional services with a specialisation in alternative asset management. You will play a key role in the development of new business opportunities, contribute to the development of wider business strategy and contribute directly to the running of the practice.

Can be based in Jersey or Guernsey. Flexible working options available.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to strategic initiatives, including having input into the management of the business and running of the practice 

  • Assisting with analysing, designing, recommending and implementing technology solutions for a broad range of industry participants across the asset management industry, with a focus on alternative asset managers

  • Researching and understanding emerging digital trends and reviewing regulatory requirements

  • Providing coaching and mentoring to junior team members

Experience and skills required:

  • Proven relevant professional experience within the asset management industry

  • Previous experience delivering professional consulting services gained through a top tier consultancy (Big 4, IBM, Accenture, etc), a specialist financial services consultancy, top tier manager, or technology service provider

  • Hold a relevant qualification (such as Prince 2, Agile, Lean Six Sigma, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CFA)

  • Confident using technology and strong analytical skills
