Play a key role in assisting with the maintenance and development of the network infrastructure for the firm’s global operations. This opportunity can be based in Jersey or Guernsey.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensuring network services (and relevant infrastructure) are performing efficiently
Reviewing, developing and refining operational processes to improve confidentiality and integrity
Ensuring all servers and infrastructure components are kept up to date with necessary security updates
Working collaboratively to report and resolve software, hardware and operational problems
Recovering key technologies in case of business continuity issues
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 2 years’ IT infrastructure experience
An intermediate level of knowledge of IP networking (specifically Cisco), telephony, firewalls and proxy servers
Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server operating systems (Server 2019, 2016, 2012)
IT qualifications would be an advantage (CompTIA A+, Server+, Network+ and Security+)
Knowledge of remote access technologies such as Citrix, SSL/TLS VPN)
