Contribute towards the strategy and delivery of efficient IT infrastructure which support business platforms, in a dynamic and forward-thinking financial services provider.
Leading the infrastructure and application teams in all jurisdictions, you will provide applications support for internal staff and clients on all premise and cloud-based infrastructure platforms.
Working closely with the Service Delivery Manager and the helpdesk team, you will use your technical expertise gained from previous experience to lead the delivery of infrastructure support and ensure applications are performing to the requirements of the wider business.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing the day to day operations of the IT infrastructure, cloud technology and applications used
Contributing to the technology roadmap for the development and evolution of infrastructure, based on current and future business needs
Supporting the resolution of critical incidents
Assisting with business continuity plans and tests
Updating security policies and procedures and acting as the authority on infrastructure matters, briefing senior staff and clients as required
Experience and skills required:
Hold recognised industry qualifications i.e. MCSE/MCSA or a business management qualification
Proven experience within a senior technical role, including at least 5 years’ experience leading infrastructure delivery, ideally on a global scale
Working knowledge of Cisco, Citrix, HP and Microsoft technologies
Proactive approach to tasks and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills
