In this role, you will recommend system improvements and assist with the migration to cloud-based technologies to help improve efficiency for both clients and internal employees.
This role can be located in Guernsey, Jersey or Southampton. Some weekend and evening work may be required during the implementation of system changes or upgrades which need to be released out of hours
Responsibilities will include:
Developing sufficient knowledge to become the subject matter expert in a set of assigned technologies
Assisting in the design and management of the group’s cloud systems, applications, security and policies
Supporting the migration of systems on to the cloud
Performing routine maintenance, upgrades and releases and researching new technologies
Assisting with the annual infrastructure budget preparation
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with infrastructure systems and services
Good knowledge of infrastructure troubleshooting methods
Ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience managing VMWare, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft M365 systems, including Exchange Online, Intune, Teams and Citrix XenApp
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
