A leading law firm is currently seeking an enthusiastic HR professional to play a key role in promoting and nurturing a culture of inclusivity and empowerment.

Joining the global HR team, you will collaboratively work alongside the HR Business Partners to deliver a seamless client focused HR service to the business. Your work will be varied and challenging, dealing with generalist HR areas such as employee relations, recruitment and data interpretation and analysis.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for any employee relations issues and coaching people managers to effectively manage issues 

  • Providing assistance with employee engagement, highlighting any potential issues, monitoring patterns and driving the implementation of any activities

  • Supporting recruitment and resourcing plans, participating in the interview process and approving offers

  • Driving the annual performance cycle (goal planning, performance coaching and performance reviews), including planning for salary and bonus reviews 

  • Acting of a key stakeholder for the global HR team in the implementation of change initiatives and tailoring programmes in accordance with business areas or jurisdictional needs 

Experience and skills required:

  • CIPD (Graduate or Member status) 

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant HR generalist experience  

  • Experience advising managers on employee relations matters such as discipline, grievances, performance management, sickness, absence and recruitment

  • Previous experience using HR systems 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work confidentially and with sensitivity when dealing with employee relations matters
