In this busy team, you will prepare annual and quarterly accounts and assist the team with all aspects of client ledgers, from set up, maintenance and close down as and when required.
As no two days will be the same, you will need to proactively approach challenges and have strong organisational skills to work under your own initiative, yet seamlessly with your team towards the completion of team goals and constantly look for ways to do things better, faster, or more efficiently.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing annual and quarterly accounts within agreed deadlines
Liaising directly with client administration teams on accounting matters in order to resolve any queries
Performing bookkeeping on an ad hoc basis and monitoring receipt of necessary information
Liaising with Auditors as required
Updating, scanning and filing records as necessary to comply with the company’s data retention policies
Experience and skills required:
Part or fully qualified Accountant
Minimum 5 years’ experience of preparing financial statements for a variety of structures including corporate, real estate and limited partnerships
Up to date knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS
Experience of using Investran and Value Financials would be an advantage, but is not essential as training will be given
Proactive approach to tasks and detail-orientated
