Play a vital role in the compliance function of an entrepreneurial wealth management firm, where you will be encouraged to take a hands-on approach and have the freedom to innovate, while benefiting from the support of a dynamic and value-creating team culture.
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be carrying out the functions of risk management, with an emphasis on ensuring that the business operates within all required legislation and have lead responsibility for the trust company business lines. You will also perform the role of Data Privacy Officer and oversee tax compliance.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing oversight, support, guidance and advice on all compliance and regulatory matters
Ensuring appropriate policies and procedures are in place to comply with relevant laws, regulations and group requirements
Preparing compliance reporting for board meetings
Acting as Data Privacy Officer
Preparing and submitting annual and semi-annual regulatory reporting, notifications and registrations to the JFSC
Training staff on compliance and regulatory issues
Experience and skills required:
Extensive compliance experience within financial services
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Good relationship building skills
Excellent time management skills
