Responsibilities will include:
Interpreting and applying the Jersey regulations to the business
Continually looking to create efficiencies and enhancements to policies, processes and controls
Assisting with regulatory enquiries/correspondence, including regulatory inspections and audit reviews
Managing and handling day-to-day AML queries from the business
Reviewing marketing material
Experience and skills required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Ability to analyse regulations to ensure appropriate action is taken/advice is given
Knowledge of Jersey legislation/regulations
Ability to prioritise risks in order to meet deadlines and minimise risk to the business.
Knowledge of banking, investment and fund service business sectors
