Within this role you will carry out all tasks associated with the compliance monitoring plan, assisting with monitoring and developing the controls currently in place to ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements for trust and fund services.
Responsibilities will include:
Carrying out regular monitoring of processes on a risk-based approach in order to identify trends in non-compliance and identification of root causes and reporting of the same
Providing advice and guidance to the business
Maintaining registers
Signing off CDD for new and existing business
Collating information and preparing reports for the Board and Managers
Reviewing business policies and procedures
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ trust and company or compliance experience
Sound technical knowledge with a comprehensive understanding of local legislation, regulation and codes of practice relating to the trust and funds industry
Good interpersonal and relationship building skills
Methodical and accurate approach to tasks
Excellent analytical and investigative skills
