A new opportunity has arisen for a Company Secretary to join a locally owned and managed accountancy firm which provides a range of accounting services to local clients.

As a valued member of the team, you will deliver a company secretarial offering with a focus on excellence in client service, identifying improvements to internal processes and providing recommendations to the Company Secretarial Manager.

Flexible hours can also be considered.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing share certificates, registers, nominee agreements and stock transfer forms 

  • Setting up minute books and attending client and board meetings

  • Obtaining client due diligence 

  • Accurately maintaining and updating registers 

  • Preparing correspondence/letters for clients and Lawyers 

  • Reviewing and reporting on corporate governance issues

Experience and skills required:

  • Either hold or currently studying towards ICSA Diploma (or equivalent) 

  • Previous company secretary experience 

  • Strong regulatory knowledge appropriate to Jersey Company Laws

  • Knowledge of the share transfer property market 

  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
