A senior level position in a well-regarded financial services organisation, providing key strategic oversight of the funds services and employer solutions business and developing growth strategies.

As a member of the senior management team and the board, you will contribute to, and lead on, governance, risk, and strategic reviews across these business lines. You will also provide guidance to ensure the business can deliver a high level of professional service to existing and new clients, whilst working with the board, and wider management team to protect and enhance the group’s reputation.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Chairing and taking the lead on board matters, as required

  • Assessing performance against agreed targets and budgets and providing advice to support the business in delivering on budgetary and performance targets

  • Actively participating in internal business development meetings, identifying opportunities for new business, and strategically setting pricing levels

  • Building a working knowledge of the risk profile of all clients and working with Heads of departments to write departmental strategies

  • Coaching and mentoring the senior management team, providing guidance on the management of employees and participating in the recruitment for the senior management team 

  • Acting as an “A” signatory and a senior escalation point for the financial services business, to ensure good corporate governance

Experience and skills required:

  • Extensive fund services experience  

  • Ideally hold a recognised professional qualification 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise multiple deadlines 

  • Ability to work well within a team 

  • Good relationship building skills
