Supporting the Client Accounting Manager, you will manage the seamless service delivery for a portfolio of complex alternative investment fund structures, in this client facing role.
The accounting team works closely with the corporate secretarial, financial reporting and investor services teams, meaning you will have the opportunity to build your global professional network.
Responsibilities will include:
Reviewing the bookkeeping for a portfolio of complex alternative investment fund structures
Acting as the client contact for all financial reporting and fund accounting matters
Undertaking fund accounting tasks such as calls, distributions and other complex fund accounting calculations
Performing reconciliations for complex transactions
Assisting with workload planning for more junior members of the team
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 2 years’ fund accounting experience
Either hold or currently studying towards a professional accountancy qualification
Previous experience with an investment accounting system, ideally Investran
Good understanding of the transactions undertaken by alternative investment fund structures
Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
