This is an excellent opportunity to join a global advisory firm and be involved in strategic initiatives and have input into the management of the business, contributing directly to the running of the practice.
You will be able to utilise your specialist knowledge in consulting/audit to help clients understand and challenge their own risk profile and maximise client value.
Over time you will become a trusted business advisor managing a team and defining project strategy for multiple and/or complex projects.
This role can be based in Jersey or Guernsey and a licence can be provided.
Responsibilities will include:
Assisting audit teams in assessing controls, including validating applicable IT controls
Providing project support to a range of cyber and technology risk client engagements
Conducting workshops and interviews to assist teams to deliver a quality service to clients
Supporting internal audit and non-audit assurance reporting
Providing advice and guidance to clients regarding the efficiency of risk control processes
Experience and skills required:
Strong academic background, ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as accounting, IT or business studies
Previous experience of internal or external consulting or audit engagements
Excellent project management skills and experience driving projects through to completion
Strong verbal communication skills and reporting writing capability
Good team working skills and previous experience mentoring junior staff
