Using the knowledge gained from your background in consulting or audit, you will help clients to understand and challenge their own risk profile, providing specialist knowledge regarding the efficiency of risk controls and identifying ways to increase value and ensure processes are aligned with operational strategies.

Joining a smaller office, you will also have excellent opportunities to be involved in strategic initiatives, have input into the management of the business and contribute directly to the running of the practice. You will have the opportunity to progress your career within the firm.

This role can be based in Jersey or Guernsey and a licence can be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting audit teams in assessing controls, including validating applicable IT controls 

  • Providing project support to a range of cyber and technology risk client engagements

  • Conducting workshops and interviews to assist teams to deliver a quality service to clients 

  • Supporting internal audit and non-audit assurance reporting 

  • Providing advice and guidance to clients regarding the efficiency of risk control processes 

Experience and skills required:

  • Strong academic background, ideally educated to degree level in a relevant subject such as accounting, IT or business studies 

  • Previous experience of internal or external consulting or audit engagements 

  • Excellent project management skills and experience driving projects through to completion

  • Excellent verbal communication skills and reporting writing capability 

  • Good team working skills and previous experience mentoring junior staff
