As Senior Manager you will also oversee resource planning for the client service team and related accounting work on key clients or complex specialist projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Organising the team portfolio and reviewing work prepared, ensuring it is completed within agreed deadlines

  • Monitoring the financial performance of the team and mentoring staff

  • Ensuring quality client relationships are built and meet compliance requirements

  • Coaching the team in relation to client activities and conducting performance appraisals

  • Deputising for the Client Director as required

Experience and skills required:

  • Hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification

  • Minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience within financial services, including 3 years’ experience in a management or supervisory role

  • Good working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP and other accounting standards

  • Ability to build and create a sense of team spirit

  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to manage multiple projects/tasks
