Due to continued growth, an innovative investment business, is currently seeking an experienced senior accounting professional to join their Group Finance team.
In this senior role, you will have responsibility for the preparation of the group’s statutory financial accounts and support the Head of Finance to identify ways to increase departmental efficiency.
This is an exciting and varied role which will provide you with an opportunity to learn and develop expertise within an emerging area of global finance within a qualified and experienced team.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing the group’s consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS standards
Acting as primary point of contact for auditors and managing the audit process
Managing account openings and reviewing financial reporting for investments
Reviewing accounting of current and future acquisitions and merge processes into current practices
Preparing budgets, cashflow forecasts and reporting for board meetings
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
Excellent knowledge of IFRS and experience of applying this in practice
Confident excel user
Experience developing and working within systems and processes to record financial transactions
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and managing confidential data
