Within this role, you will support the delivery of an effective accounting and advisory service to a range of client entities, ensuring the quality of work meets the company’s professional standards.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Planning, coordinating and reviewing a portfolio of client work prepared by team members 

  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients 

  • Preparing, reviewing and signing-off financial statements 

  • Supervising junior team members, providing on-the-job coaching and supporting ongoing development 

  • Assisting with the preparation of company secretarial matters such as company incorporations and change in details forms 

Experience and skills required:

  • Hold a relevant professional accounting qualification 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role 

  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of current accounting and audit regulations and issues 

  • Proven client handling experience and the ability to mentor more junior team members 

  • Xero accredited or have a keen interest in cloud accounting software
