A leading multi-jurisdictional financial services provider is currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join their team, on a 5-month contract to help cover a busy period for the team.
This will be an interesting and challenging opportunity to gain experience working on one of the company’s largest clients, helping to supervise more junior team members and ensure a quality service is delivered at all times.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing financial statements for a range of client structures to UK GAAP or IFRS standards
Coaching more junior staff in relation to day-to-day activities
Attending client meetings
Preparing fee quotes and calculations
Liaising with Auditors and third parties to obtain and provide the required information
Experience and skills required:
Hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification such as ACCA/ACA
Minimum 1 years’ post qualification experience preparing financial statements
Detailed knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS
Ability to work well within a team and independently using own initiative
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
