Joining the risk assurance team, you will support the Associate Director, Risk Assurance in the execution of an effective risk-based monitoring programme, in accordance with legal and regulatory obligations.
Working in an inclusive and friendly environment you will play a key role in championing a compliance culture and ensuring regulatory obligations are met in line with group strategy.
Responsibilities will include:
Supporting risk-based monitoring activities
Executing tests assigned within the risk-based monitoring programme and evaluating he results of tests
Providing reports on the efficiency of risk controls and monitoring programmes
Working with the Risk Assurance Associate Director and Compliance Officer to ensure alignment of risk assurance programmes with Key Person obligations
Making recommendations for the resolution of any deficiencies identified through the execution of the monitoring plan
Experience and skills required:
Minimum 3 years’ financial industry experience, including at least 1 years’ experience within the compliance and risk environment
Hold a relevant professional qualification such as ICA Certificate in AML awareness
An understanding of the local finance industry and regulatory requirements, including AML legislation
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proactive and disciplined approach to work
