Join a leading offshore and consistently ranked top tier law firm. Playing a key role and working closely with the Head of Risk and Compliance, you will assist the business to meet their obligations under relevant legislation.

You will also provide support to the Compliance Officer, MLRO and MLCO, as required. You can expect your career to be supported and you will be encouraged to reach your full potential, whilst delivering excellent levels of service to clients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing management information which can be used to inform and support relevant board and regulatory reporting

  • Maintaining and monitoring all risk and compliance registers

  • Supporting the delivery of anti-money laundering training to new team members

  • Assisting with client due diligence queries

  • Actioning police liaison notices and sanction checks, as received from authorities

  • Reviewing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures

Experience and skills required:

  • Experience in risk and compliance or a financial crime prevention role

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of anti-money laundering (AML) and combating financing terrorism (CFT) legislation

  • Hold or be studying towards a relevant and recognised compliance qualification, e.g. ICA

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
