A fantastic opportunity to join an innovative investment business as part of their group finance function in a hands-on, technical accounting role. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be an expert in applying technical accounting standards under IFRS and FRS 102 in financial statement preparation and consolidation for group companies.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparation of statutory accounts under IFRS and FRS 102
Liaison with the group’s auditors
Assisting in the preparation of group wide management accounts, including analytical review and suggesting and implementing improvements to internal reporting
Maintenance of asset registers
Carrying out budget analysis and cost monitoring
Preparation of financial results for regulatory reporting
Set up payments within the online banking system
Experience and skills required:
Qualified accountant (ICAS/ICAEW or equivalent)
Previous experience preparing statutory accounts and liaising with auditors
Strong knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
An understanding of Jersey’s regulatory and financial reporting regime.
