Join a professional services organisation and provide recruitment support to a Channel Islands business. Be part of a small team within a supportive and friendly environment where the focus is on providing a comfortable and inspiring place for all to work.

In this role you will support the Senior Recruitment Officer and supervise the Recruitment Administrator, ensuring the end-to-end recruitment process is delivered in a proactive and friendly manner.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the resourcing team on succession planning and meeting resource requirements of the business

  • Carrying out experienced hire recruitment tasks including liaising with marketing and advertising, screening of applicants, conducting of interviews and managing the interview feedback and offer process

  • Supporting and delivering on trainee recruitment process by working closely with universities, schools and career fairs 

  • Carrying out the relevant right to work checks and obtain the necessary work permits/visa’s to onboard staff

  • Assisting with the onboarding of new joiners

  • Regularly reviewing policies and procedures and making improvements to streamline the process

Experience and skills required:

  •  Hold previous relevant human resources experience with a focus on recruitment

  •  Ability to prioritise your day and work to several deadlines

  •  Proficient computer and IT skills particularly a confident user of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  •  Excellent communication skills to communicate confidently across a wide spectrum of people

  •  Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new situations and problem solve
