​A key role within a commercial company, delivering high value projects and managing purchasing activity for the business, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and business purchasing needs.

Within this role you will lead and develop a team, whilst managing relationships with strategic suppliers. You will also help to identify ways to implement sustainability initiatives across the business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Tracking supply chain performance against key performance indictors and seeking new value added capabilities

  • Building strong working relationships with suppliers​

  • Actively seeking improvements in supply chain activities and performance

  • Researching, selecting and purchasing quality products and materials

Experience and skills required:

  • Previous experience in a similar commercial or operational manager role​

  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness​

  • Good time management skills and ability to adapt to change​
