Joining the lending team you will have a unique opportunity to be part of a new product launch focussed around the local market, whilst also working closely with the CI/UK Mortgage Unit Head to review lending applications and ensure an exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
If you have strong technical credit experience along with excellent relationship management skills and ideally available immediately, this could be the ideal role for you.
Responsibilities will include:
Responding to enquiries by email and telephone
Carrying out interviews with potential applicants
Reviewing mortgage applications and determining the outcome
Drafting letters for successful applicants
Ensuring an exceptional customer service is delivered at all times
Experience and skills required:
Previous underwriting experience (ideally residential mortgage)
Knowledge of the Jersey residential property market would be an advantage
Drive and determination to work in a fast-paced business with clear weekly/monthly targets
Excellent telephone manner
Strong organisational and time management skills
