Provide operational support to a well-regarded wealth management organisation on a 12 month contract, reviewing and maintaining the operational risk and control programme.
Working within a high performing team, you will oversee the risk management framework and development and implement the internal controls programme within business units.
Ideally, you will have previous risk management experience within a multi-jurisdictional organisation, confident communication skills and a high level of accuracy. This opportunity can be based in Jersey or London.
Responsibilities will include:
Overseeing operational risk management measures, including key risk indicators, reporting and analysis
Reviewing operational risk programmes and reviewing control testing
Leading the evaluation, development and implementation of global risk procedures
Developing and maintaining risk related reporting and analysis programmes
Managing any escalated or complex risk issues
Experience and skills required:
Previous operational risk management experience within a widespread, multi-unit organisation
Hold a relevant professional qualification or designation
Knowledge of wealth management operations and operational risk management principles
Excellent attention to detail and a high level or accuracy
Ability to lead and manage a team
