Using your IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills, you will strive to always deliver the highest levels of client service and in return, whilst also undertaking training to learn more about network and communication systems and protocols.

As a Network and Communications Engineer, you will be part of a support rota and occasionally be required to do some out of hours support.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with any network issues, routing, switching, firewalls etc. across multi-vendor equipment 

  • Responding to reported client problems

  • Working collaboratively with other departments to resolve queries, as required 

  • Ensuring a quality service is provided at all times to clients 

Experience and skills required:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role 

  • Good knowledge and experience of Cisco networking devices 

  • Basic firewalling and internet troubleshooting knowledge

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Willingness to continually learn and develop
