Within this role you will take a leading role on dealing with a broad range of commercial contracts, ensuring these are aligned with business strategies and growth objectives.

Responsibilities will include:
Providing advice on a range of commercial matters, such as intellectual property, advertising and marketing law, licensing and data protection
Overseeing contractual obligations and maintaining contractual and regulatory obligations
Liaising with third party external legal advisors
Implementing a risk and contract register and taking steps to mitigate legal risk
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Lawyer with minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in a commercial, technology or data protection environment
Previous experience with privacy and GDPR matters
Ability to break down complex matters in to a way which is easy to understand
Proactive and forward-thinking approach to tasks
Excellent organisational and time management skills
