Are you a qualified Lawyer looking for a new challenge? This is a fantastic opportunity to join the in-house legal team within a market leading law firm, where you will have the opportunity to work as part of a diverse workforce.
You'll be working with an ambitious team providing first class legal advice and governance support to a wide range of companies, the directors and senior management of those companies and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities will include:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts including client terms of business, engagement letters, NDAs and other third party contracts
Identifying, analysing and proposing mitigation for legal, reputational and operational risks arising from client mandates
Updating colleagues on relevant changes in law and regulations and delivering training and presentations to ensure understanding
Assisting client facing teams with legal queries and managing requests to external counsel for legal advice on issues
Drafting minutes for board and committee meetings and committee terms of reference and reporting frameworks
Experience and skills required:
Qualified Lawyer with 4-6 years post-qualification experience
Ability to rapidly build close working relationships
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines
Approachable, calm and confident manner
Self-starter, proactive and the ability to take ownership of your own workload
